Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and device identifiers. This page explains which ones Border Buy uses and how you can control them.

Strictly necessary (no consent required)

• Consent record – stored by Google's consent management platform to remember your choice (up to 13 months).
• Service worker cache – stores the app shell (layout, styles, icons) so the app loads fast and can be installed. It never stores search results or personal data.

Preferences (stored only on your device)

• bb-currency-mode (local storage) – remembers whether you prefer local currency or EUR.
• bb-store-filter (local storage) – remembers whether you show all stores or physical stores only.
• bb-install-dismissed (local storage) – remembers that you dismissed the install prompt.

Advertising (only with your consent)

If you consent, Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies (for example __gads, __gpi, IDE) to show, cap and measure ads and, if you allow it, to personalise them. No advertising script is loaded before you make a choice. If you decline, no ads are shown on Border Buy. Details: how Google uses cookies.

Affiliate links

Border Buy does not set affiliate cookies itself. When you click "View at store", the retailer or affiliate network may set cookies on their own website, subject to their policies and consent tools.

Managing your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.
